Raised to kill like a pack of loyal hounds, the Baskerville children took countless lives as a band of fearsome assassins.

Despite being the shunned illegitimate son of the brood, Vikir served his family faithfully, only to meet his untimely demise at his father’s hands. But when he is inexplicably reborn with a second chance at life, Vikir, armed with the memories and knowledge of his past, swears to rise above the pack and take his revenge.

This time, he's ready to bite the hand that feeds.

Started strong, disappointed

If you asked me to rate this a year ago I would have easily given it an 8-9 out of 10. The academy arc had been a whole lot of nothing, and I even read further along in the LN to find even more disappointment. In conclusion: a very good and promising first half, but the second half fell flat on its face. If you’re bored, check it out, but don’t expect anything amazing from it.

it went downhill

when is this school arc gonna end like bro is strong enough to fight an entire kingdom yet he stay in school hiding his strength like what he doin, if looking for people to fight alongside him aren't the one he pick too weak and there is a saint who is probably gonna hold him down in later chapters

peak that fell off

Season 1 is amazing, it was absolutely peak, but then came the academy arc… and yk it’s always the most boring part of any manwha obviously. But I’m not gonna fully put down season 2 as horrendous, it has its own ups and downs, the fight scenes are amazing, some of it funny, the con literally being the fact it’s being dragged out so much. I mean hey, you should still take a chance and read it.

Fell off

It started good, but like so many other manhwa and manhua, the author just drags some parts too long. The academy arc is just too long, with Vikir essentially not using any powers for 100+ chapters.

Great start, bad progression

Return of the Iron-Blooded Hound starts off very strong, with solid worldbuilding that immediately draws you in. The setting feels well thought-out, and the early chapters do a great job establishing both the rules of the world and its stakes. The c...
