I began reading it when the "I have no enemies" meme was big. With little to no expectations, I was thrust into a horrific world where war was used as a means of fun. A world much similar to our own. Vinland Saga is a means of seeing life—a story that teaches forgiveness, but also caution. Many hate the story because it seems too hopeful, or too "unrealistic," but that's because they miss the point. Yall will probably hate on me for it but I just want to tell my honest opinion. I liked it at first the first arc I really liked the second arc was slow but had lots of good character development the third arc was a fun read but the last ark where they going to and are on Vinland I started to find Thorfinn insufferable. I didn't like how he always acted that violence was an unlikely outcome and he became very submissive. I also don't agree with some of his beliefs like nobody deserves to get killed so that's probab...
