The setting is 15th century Poland. It was a time when heretical ideas lead those to who possessed such a mindset to being burned at the stake for their beliefs. Rafal, a child prodigy, is expected to major in theology, the most important subject at the time, at the university. One day, however, he comes across a mysterious man, and is now studying a possible “truth” in the midst of heretical thought!

great historical themed manga. wasn't a 100% accurate/faithful to history but that is to be expected as there's gotta be some unique plot. very good storytelling, got me seriously emotional and had some monologues that gave me goosebumps. can get a bit deep into theory in some instances and the dialouges can get really damn long sometimes. it is only because of that and a somewhat unsatisfying ending that i'm giving this an 8 star otherwise it would be a 10/10. please still don't be put off by the theory, take you...

I'm not some professional critic, but I've read quite a lot of different manga, manhwa, novels, etc. The history-related ones hold a special place in my heart. And this one is beautiful.
