The daily life of Ichiko, a young woman who lives alone near a small village called Komori (lit., "Little Forest").
Each chapter features a dish or meal scavenged from the forests and mountains around Ichiko's home
or harvested from fields she cultivates herself.

While there are no wild flights of fancy as in Witches or Hanashippanashi, the organic artwork and majesty of nature
featured within this short series taps into that same source of magic.
