Wol Yeon of the great Yeon clan in the Kingdom of Asatae is a spirited girl who dreams of becoming a general one day.

Hidden gem

Really liked the storyline, as it was different (for me, at least). I didn't realize this was a k-drama (until I searched just now), but I'm glad I went in without expectations. I find I appreciate stories more. I don't know how much the kdrama aligned with the book and manhwa, but the ending seemed similar. I don't want to spoil too much, but the ML's conflicting personalities created an interesting dynamic. I appreciate that the manhwa was not dragged out; we had the story, and it was resolved.
