In Terms of Mid Stories, It's Peak

I got to preface this paragraph by saying I do in fact enjoy this series a ton! Yet it's true this trope has been done to death. The MC who was underestimated, abused, banished, and exiled goes on a solo journey after leaving his evil former comrades. In terms of basics, there's no interesting twist or tonal/thematic adjustment to make this unique in any meaningful way. It has comically evil villains, allies that unconditionally worship the ground the MC walks on, absurd/repetitive plot lines, and an MC who's so OP...
