It's objectively mid, but it does mid very well

I got to preface this paragraph by saying I do in fact enjoy this series. Yet it's true this trope has been done to death. The MC who was underestimated, abused, banished, and exiled goes on a solo journey after leaving his evil former comrades. In terms of basics, there's no interesting twist or tonal/thematic adjustment to make this unique in any meaningful way. The harem aspects are beyond cringe as well. It has comically evil villains, allies that unconditionally worship the ground the MC walks on, insanely rep...
