Great plot, unfortunately bad author

Honestly nothing to say here, the plot sounds very cool but the writer was just not experienced enough to make this story at all. MC is a veterinarian who had some issues in his past life and is reborn as a magician who tames magical beasts in an academy. Cool right? Well the author obviously didn’t think so considering that this plot just gets abandoned almost immediately for an “I am the chosen savior of this world plot”.
