It’s not the worst, it’s just not good. It’s at its core a sort of power fantasy, which is meant to be chugged out to appeal the mass… Except it’s really watered down version of a power fantasy. I’ve read my fair share of shallow power fantasies with generic MC’s, because not every read needs be a masterpiece all the time. Usually these type of stories still try to market “something” to its readers, whether it’s goon bait, crazy power ups, face slapping, aura farming or revenge fest or whatever. But this story does...

This feels like a bunch of with a party and stale fries. Had potential, but is missing what makes it good. It feels empty and stale. The author wrote this in order to right underdog op mc slop instead of actually wanting to create something enjoyable
