Surprisingly good

This has a slow start, but things start picking up the pace around 15 chapters in. I Just finished it, and I am actually impressed. At first, I thought this was going to be just slop, but it was surprisingly refreshing. There is no big revolutionary idea here or anything, but it's also not generic slop like most series being released on the past decade. The author had a story to tell, and they told it. Sure, the last 13ish chapters were a bit rushed, but certainly not to the point of making it bad or much worse th...
