Original horror thriller in cultivation world.

Mystery? Thriller? Horror? MC using his brains to get out of intense life and death situations? All check. MC is in a low-fantasy cultivation world centered around the occult, ghosts, demons, a lot of death and horror. MC himself is a very morally grey character who has a right heart but wouldn’t hesitate to use psychological manipulation to destroy his enemies, by being their “heart demon”. This is low fantasy so far so don’t expect a hardcore level progression, as so far there isn’t any. This has potential, but...

A hidden gem

I mostly read it through machine translation. The whole manhua seemed to have around 180 chapters, though I don’t remember exactly.
