App review
Request access for other users and understand how changes are reviewed.
Submit your app
From My apps, complete the name, description, reason for access, and callback URLs. Upload 1–5 screenshots showing the integration and its use of Comick data.
Screenshots accept static PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 5 MiB each and 25 million pixels. They are private and accessible only to the app owner and Comick administrators.
Each submission creates an immutable revision for administrators to review. A pending submission cannot be edited. You can see its review status and any feedback in the dashboard; sending a submission does not guarantee approval or a particular review time.
Review states
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Editable configuration; owner-only testing for a new app. |
| Pending | Submitted for review; a new app remains owner-only. |
| Approved | Eligible users can authorize the approved configuration. |
| Rejected | Read the feedback, revise, and resubmit. A new app remains owner-only. |
| Suspended | Authorization, token exchange, refresh, and API access are blocked. |
Administrators perform reviews, and developers cannot approve their own apps. Approval does not replace user consent.
Update an approved app
Changing the app's identity, purpose, or callback URLs requires another review. Its previously approved configuration stays active while the new revision is a draft, pending, or rejected.
For example, adding a callback to a pending revision does not make that callback available to your live integration. Keep the approved callback working until the new revision is approved. Approval activates the reviewed configuration together.
Rejection or suspension
For a rejected revision, address the feedback and submit again. Each resubmission is reviewed separately.
Suspension revokes existing grants and blocks new ones. Stop synchronization and surface a useful message to affected users. Contact support about the review decision; repeated token requests will not restore access.
